Where to Sell or Consign Clothing in Miami

Miami has a strong market for secondhand and vintage clothing — with a range of stores that buy or consign items from the public. This guide compares the options by intake model, what they accept, and how to start, so you can choose the right store for what you have.

Last reviewed: September 2026. Verify current intake requirements with each store before visiting.

Consignment vs. Buy Outright — what's the difference?

Buy Outright

The store makes you an offer and pays you immediately. You walk out with cash (or store credit). Faster, but the offer may be lower than consignment would earn.

Consignment

The store sells your items on your behalf. You receive a percentage of the sale price — but only after the item sells. Potentially higher return; no guaranteed payout or timeline.

Selling online — national alternatives

If you have items that Miami stores won't take, or if you prefer not to travel, a few national platforms accept mail-in items and have a Miami-area presence:

  • The RealReal — authenticated luxury consignment. Has a physical drop-off location in Miami's Design District. Accepts clothing, accessories, watches, and jewelry.
  • ThredUP — mail-in resale for everyday women's and kids' clothing. Good for volume sellers of mainstream brands; not designed for designer or luxury items.
  • Rebag — designer bags only. Online and by mail; provides an AI-assisted instant quote via their Clair tool. Has launched a consignment option alongside their traditional buy-outright model.

ThriftClothing is a directory of physical stores. The platforms above operate online and are included here for comparison only.

How we researched this guide

ThriftClothing reviewed current official store sources — store websites, official intake and consignment pages, and publicly available third-party directories — in September 2026. We did not personally sell clothing to any of these stores, and we did not independently verify consignment split percentages or payout amounts that stores have not published.

Intake policies, accepted categories, and hours change. Contact the store directly before making a trip. If you notice an error, use the contact page to let us know.
